There are many diifferent animals in the sublittoral zone and one of those is the Periwinkle. A periwinkle is a snail that is found on seashores all around the world and in the sublittoral zone. Periwinkles are a group of marine snails and there shells are usually mottled gray, white, and have little spots of black and a hard rounded cone shell with an obtuse point. Periwinkles inhabit the sublittoral zone, the region between low and high tides and some of the species are edible.
